Nishi Singh is a renowned exponent of classical Indian dance form ‘Kathak’. She is a passionate teacher, performer and promoter of Kathak dance. She has devoted her life and all available resources to the cause of promoting Kathak. She has showcased kathak in its pure and popular form at various platforms all over India and all over the world by way of stage performances and workshops and lecture/demonstrations. In her pursuit of excellence she has developed collaborations with other classical dance forms like Bharatnatyam and Odissi and performed jugalbandi with other renowned artistes on prestigious stages like the khajuraho mahotsav. As a result she has been showered with various accolades and awards both at national and international level. Her honest and exceptional, yet traditional teaching methods and her charismatic personality have won her many students and fans in real life and on the social media.

Devotion and perseverance have helped her overcome all obstacles and continue her worldwide journey of kathak promotion.
